UN High Commissioner Delays Release of Database Concerning Business Activities in Israeli Settlements, by Haya Omari (2019)

On 28 February 2019, during the 40th regular session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), representatives of Palestinian civil society sent a letter to Michelle Bachelet, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), urging her to release a database documenting corporate complicity with Israel’s settlement activity in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), which was first scheduled for release in March 2017.
